Deep groove ball bearing is a common rolling bearing. Its structure and working principle are as follows:

Steel Ball: The rolling element located between the inner and outer rings. The steel balls are kept at a certain distance through the cage, allowing them to roll between the inner and outer rings.

Cage: Also known as a retainer or cage, it is used to maintain the spacing of steel balls and ensure that they are evenly distributed. Cages are usually made of metal or plastic materials.

When the radial force loaded on the deep groove ball bearing acts on the bearing, the deep groove structure between the inner ring and the outer ring allows the steel ball to roll inside the bearing. This rolling motion reduces friction and therefore energy loss.

At the same time, deep groove ball bearings can also withstand a certain axial force, although their axial load carrying capacity is relatively low. This is due to the role of the cage, which ensures that the steel ball maintains a certain position in the axial direction.
